Yes, you may cancel your registration. The last day to cancel your registration is October 5. Cancellations incur a $500 fee. To cancel, log in to your NextUp Account and select “My Event Registration” from the left navigation. Here, you can cancel any upcoming registrations by clicking “Cancel.”

As a 501c3 nonprofit organization, NextUp unfortunately does not have the flexibility to absorb the unexpected cost of cancellations after our cutoff date. Offering refunds at that time would negatively impact our ability to deliver on our mission, and to create events like NextUp Leadership Summit.

As no goods or services are provided for registrations that go unused after October 5, you may contact us to request that your registration fee be converted into a tax-deductible charitable donation to NextUp if you are unable to use your registration. No, hotel rooms are not included in your registration price and must be booked separately.

A link to register for the Summit hotel room block will be provided to you after you register to attend. 

Hotel rooms and block rates are on a first-come, first-served basis from the opening of Summit registration. We recommend booking as soon as possible after registration to avoid any issues with securing accommodations. Please note that the hotel room block and rates are limited and first come, first served. Throughout registration, but especially during the Last Chance Registration period, Sept. 22 – Oct. 5, few or no rooms may be available.

For those not participating in pre-conference sessions (most attendees) the conference begins at 2:00 PM CT on 10/19. We recommend arriving at least an hour prior to this to leave time to check in with the conference. Hotel check-in is 4:00 PM, and guest rooms are not guaranteed for check in prior to the start of the conference.

If you are participating in the NextUp Board Meeting (11 AM CT, 10/19) or Affinity Group Meetings, plan to arrive with time to spare for check-in.

The overall dress code for Summit is business casual. On our first evening we have a welcome reception, and many attendees choose to have dinner out afterward. Please dress in whatever will make you comfortable. On day two, we’re throwing a big party with a high-energy performance that will entice you to the dance floor so dress in something you can do your favorite moves in. Don’t forget your workout clothes for our morning movement session or a trip to the onsite gym. It never hurts to bring layers so you can make sure you’re comfortable while taking in all the inspiring sessions!

Meals listed in the agenda are covered as part of your registration. For other dining options, see the hotel website. 

You will be asked to indicate any dietary requirements as part of the registration process.  

Group codes may be requested only for 25 or more attendees, and MUST be used by Sept. 22. Group codes may be requested via the Promo Code Request Form in your Member Profile.

The number of Registration Promo Codes ordered is considered a commitment. NextUp plans conference activities and accommodations based on this number. Registrationsare expected to be filled by your company, and you will be invoiced for the full requested amount. Unused registrations will not be adjusted or refunded.  

Registration Promo Codes may only be used at point of online registration. Should a Promo Code not be used at point of registration, prices will not be adjusted, and refunds will not be processed.  

If a registered attendee who has used a promotion code does not attend an event, refunds will not be provided. Invoices are for all promotion codes requested, not actual event attendance.   

Please note: A promo code does not reserve a registration space. Attendees must register online using the promo code to secure a space at the event.
