NextUp NorCal has an upcoming event, The Power of the Pivot, which will feature a fantastic multi-generational panel (yes, one who appeared and received investment on Shark Tank). The panel will share their stories and insights on how they navigated career and personal pivots. Opportunity to network and breakfast are provided the first hour of the event. This is not an event to be missed!

Meet the Panelists:

Lilli Zinaman, who's path has included several career pivots, long-distance moves, personal transformations and founding her own business coaching people as they build what she calls their "second mountain." Prior to founding her own business, she worked for several rapid-growth start-ups in NYC before moving to SF to work for LinkedIn leading their Workplace Experimentation program.

Nicole Evasovic entered the workforce on the tail-end of the 2008 recession. She built her career in corporate recruiting/talent acquisition working for organizations such as at Safeway, 24-hr fitness, Ross, and Grocery Outlet, and then found herself facing a major life pivot – becoming a working single mom of two while navigating through the crazy world of COVID.

Hector Saldívar moved to the US from Monterrey, Mexico in 2005 and moved through the ranks working for Nestle USA and Diamond Foods. After Diamond Foods was acquired, Hector followed his dream and founded Tia Lupita Foods, a healthy Mexican-inspired food brand. Tia Lupita has received several accolades including Natural Products Expo West Pitch slam winner, was recognized by Time magazine, and featured on SHARK TANK in which he received investment.

Lori Procter pivoted from 33 years in sales management at P&G to co-founding Simpactful, a boutique consulting firm. When she retired in 2021, she experienced another pivot – caring for a parent in need of home care which resulted in her and her husband welcoming her dad into their home.
