About this program
The P&L Accelerator Program is an intensive six-month development experience built to fast-track high potential talent into roles with full profit and loss accountability. Designed for individuals ready to broaden their influence and step confidently into operational leadership, the program blends real-world learning with personalized support to accelerate readiness for larger responsibilities.
Participants gain the financial acumen, strategic mindset, and leadership presence required to guide teams, drive business outcomes, and deliver results in high visibility moments. Through a curated mix of coaching, faculty-led sessions, and applied learning, the program equips emerging leaders to navigate complexity and lead with impact.

Standard Rate: $15,995 per participant

Program format
The Profit & Loss Leadership Accelerator is a six-month, high impact development experience for high-potential leaders ready for greater responsibility.
Designed with a manageable time commitment: of approximately 10–15 hours per month across sessions, coaching, and application. (60-70 hours total over the six- months).
Virtual Sessions
Kick-Off & Orientation (4 hours / 1 session)
Held via Zoom.
Profit & Loss Business Simulator (32 hours / 6 sessions)
Small groups (up to five) apply P&L principles in a decision-based simulator. Held via Zoom.
Master Class Series (6 hours / 4 sessions)
Interactive "power skill" sessions focused on authentic leadership and peer support. Held via Zoom.
MBA Skills Workshop (2 hours / 1 session)
A concentrated, two-hour professional development session. Held via Zoom.
One-on-one Executive Coaching (12 or more hours over 6 months)
Participants select a dedicated coach after two introductory 30-minute chemistry meetings. Includes two 60-minute-deep dives and unlimited 30-minute "flash" sessions monthly.
Leader Lab (2 hours / 1 – 2 sessions)
Panel discussions featuring current and former P&L leaders sharing operational best practices and career insights. Held via Zoom.
Internal Sponsorship (4 hours / 4 sessions)
Sponsors receive virtual training in month one. While the program suggests four 1-hour meetings over six months, participants are responsible for managing their own meeting cadence and scheduling.

Who Should Attend
This program is designed for emerging leaders who are ready to take on broader organizational influence and prepare for future roles with P&L responsibility. Ideal participants include:
- High potential leaders identified for advancement
- Individuals who have consistently demonstrated strong performance, strategic thinking, and leadership capability. These participants are viewed by their managers and the organization as ready to accelerate their development and contribute at higher levels.
- Professionals with approximately 5–10 years of experience
- Participants typically bring a solid foundation of functional expertise and organizational knowledge. They have enough experience to understand cross functional dynamics and are now poised to broaden their perspective and impact.
- Talent on a clear trajectory toward P&L awareness or responsibility
- Individuals who are beginning to influence business outcomes or manage components of a budget and who show aptitude for financial acumen, decision-making under ambiguity, and driving results. This group is preparing for future roles where they will be accountable for business performance.

An email with instructions on how to access the program platform will be sent to all registrants prior to the start date.
Cancellations and Refunds
Refunds are determined by how far in advance you cancel your registration. To cancel, log in to your NextUp Online account, go to My Event Registrations, select your event, and click Cancel.
- 90+ Days Before Program Kickoff session: 100% refund, less a $250 administrative fee
- 30–90 Days Before Program Kickoff session: 50% refund, less a $250 administrative fee*
- Fewer Than 29 Days: No refunds
*In lieu of a refund and/or administrative fee, a transfer is available for a $50 fee. If the program cost is less than the administrative fee, no refund will be given.
Transfers
You may transfer your registration to another member of your organization up to three days before the event, provided your learning platform account has not been activated. Transfers require NextUp approval. Request a transfer here.
