Fostering Community: Fostering Belonging

About the event

The one thing that we know to be certain is uncertainty. What is consistent is that culture and inclusion can directly impact outcomes for organizations and individuals. Belonging does not just “happen.” What can organizations and individuals do to foster belonging?

Learn how to support others during times of change- whether it be at work or in their personal lives. In this robust, interactive session, participants will learn best practices to foster belonging and support others making our workplaces more diverse, inclusive, accessible and human—all needed in today’s changing world. Through discussion and group exercise, participants will build their action on supporting fostering belonging in the workplace and their communities.

Guiding principles for this session:

• Limit distractions
• Have your camera on
• Be ready to engage with other participants
• Have fun!
