About the event
What role do organizations have in creating an inclusive environment for all employees? What are the best practices to include individuals with physical disabilities? An organization is as good as its culture. An inclusive workplace values all employees by providing equal opportunities for all to contribute, learn, and succeed.
In addition to the inclusion of individuals with physical disabilities, what role do organizations have to address and destigmatize individuals dealing with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder? Stressors such as perception of safety, social exclusion, quarantine, and confinement, as well as financial loss and job insecurity in the era of COVID-19 pandemic has widened the divide of known to unknown for many individuals in today’s workplaces.
Come and join us for this second interactive Fostering Community Workshop Series session as we explore and apply best practices for going beyond ADA compliance to the human connection for all to thrive in our workplaces.
